Help with a Acer restore to factor settings.?

Hey, i own a acer Aspire m1100 and the Erecovery wont Restore. it does the PW and all that stuff reboots and reboots back to desktop like i dident hit anything. i also tried to use the Vista restore to a perverse time and try again but nothing. is there anyway for me to restore this PC back to Factor settings? im not a complete tard when it comes to PC's but this stumped me. anyone got a idea?? i gotta put this pc back to factory settings. ive also looked up on adding the F10 menu on start up but i rather not mess around with the Partisan any one got a idea?
