What biography should I read?

i need to read a biography for my english cl. i've read a few before but i'm not a big fan of autobiographies. i can recall two that i liked, though: the pursuit of happyness and tuesdays with morrie. i guess the problem is that i like reading stories about normal people, not bill gates or abraham lincoln. it's not because those people are not great, it's just that i can relate to, well, "normal" people better. anyway, i'm fifteen, in english honors, and i need an appropriate biography to read so if you have any suggestions, i'd really appreciate some input!
