Weird period and pregnancy?

Ok I am a 33 yr old mother of one (15 yr old) and i have always wanted another child but havent been fortunate enough. Well a year ago i left my husband of 14 yrs and now I am dating another man. a few weeks ago i noticed a clear discharge when i went to the bathroom. Then a few days later I started my Period a week and a half early. I have always had regular periods (like clockwork) lasting 5-7 days tapering off by the 6th. I have been on my period now for 11 days. because this has never happened to me before i started researching things and noticed that alot of women have had this and it could be a sign of pregnancy. I have a doctors appt for the 28th but was just wondering if anyone else has had this. I dont want to get my hopes up but it is hard being that it has been a dream to have another child. If you have had this and it has been a sign of pregnancy can you tell me what other signs you have had. Or if you have had this and it was something else please let me know. thanks.
