How can someone even begin to equate Pastor Wright with the KKK?

While both display obvious animosity when it comes to race relations the comparison ends there. Wright's ideas are rather eccentric yes, but he wasn't out murdering and lynching the innocent, corrupting our justice system, setting bombs off in churches and therefore killing children, setting crosses on fire to frighten others into submission. . .all the man was doing was speaking to his congregation. He was speaking his opinion, but no one has to agree with what he is saying. No one is forced into obeying him. Equating these two isn't logical, so why are people doing it?
