Any Bruce Springsteen fans out there?

I'm trying to remember the name of this song and video made back in the 80's. In the music video near the end, it shows him at night walking up the stairs to his girlfriend's house and he's about to knock on the door. Then he walks away. It's a very smooth ballad and I can't remember the name of it.
