Does a gall bladder with stone not taking active part in digestive system ?

Stones can do a bunch of things to your gallbladder. Sometimes it still functions normally, especially if the stone manages to p through after awhile - although it'll be painful. If it gets completely stuck, the gall bladder can swell up and get infected. Usually the stones don't do that though.
