Help me where to go?

I'm going to be going to ca in July with my mum I'm from Ireland.I'm flying in2 lax going to San francisco las vegas grand canyon and then back to la but I don't want to spend last 2 nights in la before I rturn as I will have already spent time there at the start of my visit. Any suggestions on where to go for 2 nights and isn't expensive to stay there I'm 16 so need a bit of relaxation after travelling .well my mum will. Any ideas somehere close by accesible . Oh and don't want to go to Anaheim so leave that out . If possible mention a nice hotel in area u have chosen thanks a mill
