How do I learn to love reading?

I want to learn to love reading but as of now I just hate it and I am also terrible at it. It is probably partly because my reading comprehension sucks. When it comes to Tests, and grades it's always reading that I have to work on. I actually use to love it in elementary school but it was because I loved reading something and having pictures to refer too. The only books I can seem to read are comic books and how to books that teaches me how to do something.
