The walls keep blinking red and black on sims 2!? Plz Help!?

okay so i just installed Sims 2, Sims 2 Nightlife, and Sims 2 Glamour Life Stuff. And when i started making my people the walls in the backround were blinking red and black and then when i moved into the house they were doing it to. what do i do??
