BYU or AUR?

I have been accepted to both Brigham Young University and the American University of Rome. They are kind of opposites when it comes to college - AUR in big city, no religous affiliation, small student body, extremely far away from home, somewhat expensive. BYU in small city, LDS affiliation, huge student body, pretty close to home, less expensive. I want to major in Art History, and BYU's program is really good - but Art History in Rome, would be amazing!!! My fiance and I got engaged March 2007, and set a general date of Summer 2009. My brother got engaged this past Christmas (2007) after knowing his fiance for four months. Wrong for ping a police cruiser that was driving slow?

I was on my way to work the other day and I had 10 minutes to get to work before I was marked late. I'm driving down the interstate and I guess every car that was driving around this polic crusier, decided to slow down and drive at the desired speed to avoid getting a speeding ticket. I happened to be right behind the police cruiser and to myself im thinking "I'm going to to have to p the cop because I'm not about to be late for work.". So I found an open spot besides me and I changed lanes to my left and sped up and went in front of the police cruiser and drove off. Then I see lights and his police siren go off and i was like, "You gotta be f**kin kiddin' me."...he pulled me over and asked for my license and registration. ANd then wrote me a ticket for an "illegal lane change" and "going 5mph above the recommended speed limit." ... so I owe the court 120 bucks for that. I felt that was pretty dumb reason to write me up, when clearly, he had been driving so damn slow to begin with, and I needed to get to work. Why won't my car start normally?

When I start my car (1994 Chevy Beretta 2.2l) after it sits for more than 4 hours it idles really bad abd occasionally stalls within the first minute of running... after the first minute it runs perfectly. I prefer staying in hotels because they are so luxurious. They are also very close to shops which is great because i love to shop. As well my dad works for hyatt and they are located all over the world so i like to go and visit all the places around the world. Last year i went to Hong Kong and Bali, it was my favourite holiday because i did a lot of shopping and i had never been to Hong Kong before. When i was in Bali i learnt to surf, it was so much fun. As well i got to meet new people and make lots of friends. I loved the beaches on bali and the water was so clear you could always see the bottom of the sea. Every donkey I know brays in the morning for breakfast. My in-laws had one and if it saw a light go on in the house, even if it was still dark, it would start up. Me… this is a tough one to write because of two conflicting parts of me. I thought my wife was cheating on me because she was spending more time with another man at his house than she was with me, when all she was doing was playing video games and laundry. I know also that I can not accuse her again, because if I keep thinking that she is doing something, then why not go ahead and do what I am accusing her of. I am creating my own demise here. I am digging my own grave… I have to figure out how to put the dirt back into that hole and seal it off for good. I need her istance in doing this though. I need that reurance from her that she truly feels that I am the one man for her, and that she would never do that to me. I need that affirmation and those terms of endearment to help me get over my childish behavior. Problem is that if I ask for it, she will ume that I am again accusing her, when I am not. We had a parent teacher conference last night (1st grade) and her teacher reiterated some concerns we've noticed over the last few weeks. She's still doing her homework and an A+ student but she has become withdrawn, doesn't want to participate, and will start to cry at the drop of a hat. When I pick her up she says she's tired (why she tells her teacher she doesn't want to participate) and she's not eating as much as she used to. 1963 350 engine idle?

I have a 1963 chevy impala, I just put a 350 engine and converted the distributor points with an Accel points eliminator conversion kit part 2010. I have ahard time getting the engine to idle correctly. Some tell me that it might be my harmonic balancer that is slipping and making it hard to get the timing done correctly. But their is something that i noticed that does not seem right. When I have the car on an I disconnect the battery, the car idles alot higher and this may be the correct idle. My question is what causes the engine to idle like that? Could it be my Voltage regulator? I have a 1970 chevy truck with a 350 and this does not occur to my truck.

Erecting a sundial at either pole would be problematic.You need to align it pointing north and south. At the North Pole every direction is south, and at the South Pole every direction is north. Can Cubase 5 run with digidesign 003 rack interface?

I have been running Cubase 5 with an M-Audio Mobile Pre interface with no problems. I recently purchased a Digidesign Rack 003 to be my new interface but I'm having issues with crackling noises during play-back. Does this mean that Cubase and Digidesign are incapatible? I can run Pro-Tools but would rather not because I'm extremely comfortable with Cubase.

No it will have been quite harmless so don't worry. Remember some recipes (eg boiling a xmas pudding) need a pan to simmer on the gas for that length of time! Restaurant kitchens have their gas jets burning for most of the day with no ill effects. Central heating burners are alight most of the day in winter and you wouldn't worry about that. When the gas burns it turns into water and carbon dioxide, which is what you breathe out yourself!

Loss of pregnancy symptoms?

I am 9 weeks 5 days, and I've been noticing this week that my pregnancy symptoms seem to be disappearing? I still get a twinge in my back now and then, and my are still slightly tender but other than that everything else is disappearing! 1993 YJ, 5sp 4 cyl, when accelerating, vibration is felt in 1st 2nd and 3rd gears. Not so much in 4th or 5th. 2nd is definitely the worst. Vibration is worst under load, and disappears when the clutch is pushed in. All universals are good, drive shaft straight, tires balanced. Any ideas?

I mean, it doesn't seem to have any adverse effects, and when we go for a walk (it's snowy where I live, so the pee is frozen), she will sniff around, and I think she's just looking for a place to mark, but then she'll snuffle into the snow and start chomping down on a piece of ice. It took me a few times of this happening to figure out it was deer pee (there was lots of deer tracks, and it's a swampy sort of area that the deer like to visit in our neighborhood, plus they go down our street now and then because it's open, and there is salt on the road).

Is Trigonometry or the Pythagorean Theorem more accurate?

My geometry teacher is away on maternity leave and I have this long time substitute, and she is really making me mad! It always seems like she has no idea what she is doing, and she is VERY picky when grading! If you don't have EXACTLY what she is looking for, you will get less points! We are learning about Area of regular polygons in relation to circles, and I feel more comfortable using the pythagorean thereom to find the apothem (height of equilateral triangles that make up a regular polygon). It's simple: the hypotenuse is one side length, the short leg is half that, and you use the Pythagorean theorem to find the missing leg! Now she is claiming that we are supposed to find it using trigonometry, but I seem to believe that trig isn't as accurate! Which is more accurate? I want to be able to prove her wrong, so please explain thouroughly! Plus I found out that calculators find trig based on estimating it from information stored by the Taylor Series.

Okay so I have some mucus/phlegm stuffing my nose, and my throat. Any REAL way to clear it? Claritin doesn't help...and I tried pills before, but nada. Why do I only laugh when I get hurt?

Ever since I could remember I always laughed when I got hurt. I don't think getting hurt is funny, it literally is my reaction to laugh. Not to sound weird but a majority of the time instead of feeling pain it feels more of a "hit to the funny-bone" sorta feeling. It literally forces me to laugh which now that I think about it , seems kinda crazy. And if I hold it in I tend to laugh a bit more. This normal? Opinions? Whew! Now, with all that, I cannot believe that at least a couple of you Yahoos! can't come up with a shrimp based recipe, maybe over pasta...or some side dish with the "main" course being the delicious sauteed (or broiled, or????) giant shrimp? Pregnancy after vasectomy reversal?

My opponent didn't show up to court on time, so I got a default judgment in my favor. He showed up about an hour after call and asked the judge to vacate the default judgment, claiming he was late because of traffic. I am going to write a letter to object to the motion because I think he should have planned better and that i shouldn't be penalized for it. What kind of content should I include in the letter to make my case? Would the judge even consider granting his request because of his excuse?

Why won't my dogs go out anymore?

Well I have these 2 pretty big dogs. 1. Is Diesel an 80 pound, 2 year old boxer/mastiff mix. 2. Is Bear a 90 pound, 1 year old rottweiler/german shepherd mix. Both dogs used to love to run around our backyard for hours and we used to have to chase them in sometimes when they chose to play than listen. Now though both show no interest in the backyard whatsoever and if I do get them out the door they walk out and right back in. Both dogs were fully house broken and now since they will not go out we have had "accidents" in the house. Sadly my father ped away last month and they seem to of started this behavior about that time so I wonder if it is linked. They both did love my dad, So could it be some type of doggy depression?

How do I learn to love reading?

I want to learn to love reading but as of now I just hate it and I am also terrible at it. It is probably partly because my reading comprehension sucks. When it comes to Tests, and grades it's always reading that I have to work on. I actually use to love it in elementary school but it was because I loved reading something and having pictures to refer too. The only books I can seem to read are comic books and how to books that teaches me how to do something.

I think the Saints are the best team in football at the moment. However, going 16-0 is not going to happen. The 2007 Patriots had a lot of veterans who have been in a lot of big games and they admitted afterward that the pressure and distraction to go undefeated was enormous. The Saints don't have the experience to deal with that distraction and pressure. It would be better for them to lose one or two games, because after a loss, good teams regroup and refocus. 6-0 is too early to talk about going ubdefeated.

Green Cloudy Pool Water?

I painted my pool a year ago and now im having problems with it. The water is green and the paint is wearing off. She does some poking around, asking if I've been happy, etc, if I was dating.I told her I've been doing well, not really dating. That's when things went downhill.She started accusing me of dating so soon, etc. Brought up bad things I did in the relationship.We had a talk yesterday which was good and she ended up spending the night. So I ask, what is going on? She called me, asked me to dinner, even led me with the question "you should date this woman?" then all hell breaks loose! The next night, she spends the night and then just last night. I didn’t expect to see her last night. I just texted her how her studying is going, she said she was starving. So we agreed to get pizza. She came over. When she came over, she had her mouthwash thing, so this kinda gave me an idea that she wanted to stay the night. So we just talked about things. She thanked me for the pizza, and said she was going home. I asked her why, she said that she doesn’t want this to be a habit, etc etc. She again just said she needed to be single and figure stuff out, but she is happy that she is figuring stuff out. I told her that I still feel there is a connection between us, etc, and she said that sometimes she thinks we are too different, etc., etc. But then she goes, “Hey, it’s getting late. Can we talk about this in bed”? So she ended up staying the night. We didn’t talk about it anymore, just normal convo then we both ped out in each others arms.
